Friends of Christ the King

Friends of Christ the King School was formed in 2000, with the main aim of raising money to enhance the work of Christ the King RC Primary and providing engaging activities for our pupils.

Our Mission Statement

To advance the education of the pupils in the school by developing more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school, by engaging in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it and by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority).

2017 Summer Fair

A record breaking Summer Fair was held on Saturday 14th July.  A huge thank you to all parents, grandparents, children and teachers who gave up their time to make it a fun event for all.  If you would like to be involved in the planning and organising of events throughout the school year, or you have any fundraising ideas then  please contact Mrs Clegg in the School Office.

We raised an amazing £2,634.00!! Discussions will be held in September 2017 on what the money may go towards.

Christ the King Lottery

In 2015, we replaced our old monthly draw with a new lottery where the odds of winning were much higher, more regular and also raises a fantastic amount of money for the school.  We have been able to donate a significant amount towards the new Forest School Project simply because of the school lottery.  At present we only have 48 parents and grandparents supporting this (as at 17th March), so imagine if we could double or quadruple that figure - what resources would we be able to give our children then!? Please please if you haven't joined just click below.  You have to be in it to win it!

The more people who sign up for this the bigger the weekly prize is, currently its around £18 per week but with your help we could get that higher.  It cost £1 per week and you also get put into a national draw to win £25,000 a week so TWO chances of winning whilst helping the school.

Please click here to join and Good Luck!

The weekly draw takes place at 8pm every Saturday night.
