Christ the King Roman Catholic Primary School
At Christ the King Roman Catholic Primary School, we welcome everyone as a member of God's family.
Our aim is to develop the full potential of each child, spiritually, socially and academically, encouraging a sense of love and respect for each other and the world around us.
By providing each member of our school family with these values and skills, our children will be equipped to lead a fulfilled and successful life.
At our school, we welcome everyone as part of our family.
We want everyone to be the best that they can be;
the person that Jesus wants them to be.
We will learn to love everyone and God’s world.
We will learn everything that we need to achieve.
Christ at the heart of all that we do!
Christ the King has over 130 years of history but like all institutions, looks to the future and the needs of tomorrow. To ensure that we organise effectively for the future, the Governors and Staff have a Development Plan, which is regularly assessed in the light of our Mission Statement, national requirements and the desire to provide a quality education and environment for our pupils. To support the Development Plan the Governors are also addressing the OFSTED Action Plan.
The plan for 2016 and beyond includes:
To develop more able curriculum
To embed the new Assessment procedures
Strengthen leadership skills of staff and governors
To develop the faith life of our pupils
