Christ at the heart of all we do

Welcome to Year 3

Learning Letters

Hello! In Year 3 we are taught by Mr. Baldwin. We are supported by Mrs. Sudall and Mrs. Fell. Mrs Canty also teaches us when Mr Baldwin is completing his planning and preparation.

We follow the school ethos 'Christ at the Heart of All We Do'  to ensure that we can complete our learning to the best of our ability.

Please check in on this page for all our latest activities, photos, videos and learning in class. Below you will find the key information for the year. Thank you for visiting our page.

Spring 1 Term

This terms topic is 'Rock and Roll!'. The children will be learning all about the Science, History, and Geography of rocks and famous rock sites. If your child has any rocks or rock related materials that they want to bring in to school to add to our 'Rock Research Station', they would be more than welcome. We will have a 'Rock Researcher of the day' award for the child who impresses most in any of our rock lessons, their photos will be added to the website below.

Our class novel this term, to go alongside our 'Rock and Roll!' theme, is Clive King's classic, 'Stig Of The Dump'. We are enjoying finding out about Barney and Stig, the adventures they get up too, the inventions that they make and finding out all about life as Stone Age man.
