Hello Year 6
Here's some home learning for you.
If you do get some spare time, don't forget Beat the Street - we need some more points to get us up that leader board!
Have a lovely day and an even better weekend.
Mrs Kelly, Mrs Room and Mrs Windle
English
Please spend some time reading today and, if possible, ask an adult to test you on this week's spelling.
Here is a short grammar activity for you to do. Remember, a clause is a group of words with a shared meaning and it contains a subject and a verb. A main clause stands alone - it makes sense on its own. A subordinate clause does not make sense on its own and needs to be written with a main clause to create a sentence.
Maths
Today, we are gong to do some revision of a very important skill: multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000. Watch the videos and then have a go at the activities. There's also a mental challenge for you to try if you like.
Science
To get us thinking about how the human circulatory system works, look carefully at the ideas of these four children. Do you agree or disagree with their ideas? For each child, say whether you agree or disagree and, most importantly, say why. Try to use what you already know and understand about the circulatory system in your responses.
