Year 1 Home Learning

Welcome to Year 1's Home Learning Page!

Date: 25th January 2021

Message:

Hello Year 1. I hope that you have all enjoyed playing in the snow.

We have all missed you at school. It has been very quiet and quite strange having  half empty classrooms.

Over the next few weeks, your home learning will be posted weekly on this page. If you would like paper copies of the resources, any extra paper or pencils please collect them from the school office.

If you need anything or would like to contact the Year 1 staff please feel free to email us on: Year1@king-pri.lancs.sch.uk  . You can also use this email address to send in photos of your work. We would love to see what you have been up to.

Good luck with your home learning, have fun and stay safe!

Mrs. Clay, Mrs. Wale and Mr. Goodwin

History: Victorian Schools (Thursday afternoon)

This term in History we are looking at Victorian Schools and comparing them to schools today.

For today's History lesson please look at the powerpoint about schools in the past. The section 'What punishments were there in the past?' is the relevant section for today. Then look at the poster about school rules and discuss the Victorian school rules. Now choose 1 of the rules and make a poster for a Victorian classroom wall about that rule. See the example poster for ideas.
