Good morning Year 5
I hope you are all well. We missed you all in school yesterday. Below is your home learning for the remainder of this week. You have many exciting activities to complete... have fun!
Try to make your day like a school day. Complete English and Maths activities in the morning then complete your spellings, RE or Science in the afternoon. Don't forget to keep practising your timestables and try reading everyday.

Literacy

This week and next week, you will explore what is in our Solar System, the famous ‘Space Race’ and the thrilling, true survival space story – Apollo 13. Please click on the link below.

January 6th is the feast of the Epiphany and your RE work, to be completed on Wednesday, is based on this important event in the Church's year.
Remember to take down your Christmas decorations today!
Science
Your new topic this half term is space - the solar system. This week, you will spend some time looking at some important factual information. Over the next few weeks, we will then look very closely at the solar system. If you want to challenge yourself, try carrying out some research of your own. Please email your class email any extra work that you complete on this - Mrs Webster may move you to pot of gold.
