Message

Hello Year 6! Thank you for all the had work you've been doing at home and thank you especially to those of you who have emailed work to us - we're very impressed by how motivated you have been. Give yourselves a pat on the back!

This week, we would like you to attempt the Maths and Literacy activities each morning. For the other subjects, try the RE on Monday, Art on Tuesday, History on Wednesday, ICT on Thursday and Science on Friday.

If you need any help, or if you want to send in your completed work including photos, please send them to your class email which will be checked daily y6@king-pri.lancs.sch.uk

Don't forget, packs of work are available from school if you prefer to use paper copies. If you need any other equipment such as paper or pencils, just give us a shout.

If you have left your spelling files at school, these will also  be available for you to collect.

Have fun and stay safe everyone,

Mrs Kelly and Mrs Room

Literacy

Your work for the next two weeks is on the theme of adventurers and explorers. You will learn what it takes to survive in the wilderness, and you will meet some of the people who have strived to explore unknown parts of the world.

Click below for everything you will need. You will find three of the texts from Love Reading for Kids in your home learning packs.

In your pack, you will find a reading booklet with questions. This is your guided reading which is continued from last week. Work on this three times per week and remember to ask an adult to help you if you find any parts of the texts a little tricky.
