School Uniform

The uniform that should be worn in school time at Christ the King is as follows:

Reception - Year 5 - Red jumper/cardigan, white shirt, tie, plaid skirt, grey trousers/shorts, red/white summer dress, black shoes.

Year 6 - Same uniform as above but Black Jumper.

 

PE: Plain white T-shirt, blue/black shorts, black pumps (indoor). All children should have a PE kit bag, which they can keep on their coat hook.

In addition, we ask that children bring an outdoor kit as some activities are outside.

All children - Tracksuit bottoms or leggings, hooded/zipped or sweatshirt top and outdoor   trainers

**Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name.**

Nearly new uniform 

We have lots of nearly used uniforms kindly donated by families here at Christ the King.   These are available all year round - just ask at the school office. We also put these uniforms out in the Reception area on set days during the school holidays - we will notify parents of these days through a school notice . 

Footwear: Only plain black shoes. Boots and boot-style shoes are not allowed.

Hair: Extreme hairstyles, including unnatural colours or decorative braids and beads are not allowed. Extreme haircuts for example tramlines, shaven heads (number 2 cut or less) and decorative designs are not allowed. Long hair must be tied back.

Jewellery: No jewellery, no earrings and no make-up is allowed. Children may wear a normal analogue/digital watch. 

Toys and Belongings: Toys and personal belongings are not allowed in school.

Mobile Phones: Mobile phones are permitted in Y5/Y6 if parents have informed school that their child is walking to and from school. This must be left at the school office on arrival and collected at home time.
